Stella "Sunflower" Giblin, age 9, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Voorhees, New Jersey. Born on May 27, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Stella brought joy and light into the world from the very beginning.

Affectionately known as "Sunflower," Stella was the sweetest and funniest soul—a true ray of sunshine in the lives of all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit radiant, and her presence a source of comfort and happiness to those around her. She was a loving daughter whose warmth and kindness touched hearts deeply.

Stella is lovingly remembered by her parents, Anna DiMateo and Jacob Giblin; her sisters, Clara and Eliza DiMateo; and her stepfather, Mathew DiMateo. Their love for Stella is immeasurable, and her memory will forever be cherished within their hearts.

A private funeral and burial will be held to honor Stella’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to any children-based charity in Stella’s memory.
