"Precious memories how they linger how they ever flood my soul."
I remember as a child we would look forward to his return from the farm work program. There was something for everyone .
My fondest memory is when we used to go by their house to watch television. It must be noted they were the only persons in the entire district of Zion Hill to own a television set.
He was very fond of boxing and whenever Joe Frazier his favorite boxer was in the ring we had to be as quiet as a mouse. It was fun to see him throwing jabs , dodging blows and instructing Joe where to hit his opponent. His favorite saying was " give him the upper cut" That's where I got my love for boxing .
When it wasn't farm work season he would plant all sorts of crops. Every summer we would go to ' bush' with him. He would cut sugar cane tie it up and tell us to put it on our head . If we couldn't lift it up by ourselves he would take out until we can manage. To date those were the sweetest sugar cane I've ever eaten .
He was very dependable and family oriented. I remember how he and my aunt stood in the gap when I needed them the most .
I will forever be grateful to them.
He has left behind a legacy of honesty, humility and giving that will long be remembered.
May his memories continue to live on in the lives of those he impacted.

Condolences to the family of Steadman Skinner, praying the Lord will enfold you in his comforting arms during this difficult time and give you all Peace.

I remember Master Dick as we all called him growing up as a kind and gentle person,  he was always willing to share with the community,  may his memory live on.

May his soul find eternal rest.

There are no words to express the pain I feel overthe loss of my beloved brother Steadman (Dicky) Growing up as children, he was my hero, my bodyguard I was safe from bullies. Dicky was a calm wonderful person.

May his soul rest in peace. One day we will meet at a place where we will never say goodbye.

From your dear sister. Dairis
