Staci's obituary

Staci Lue Laird, 57 of Rosebud, Texas passed away in her sleep on June 21st 2023 from complications of an illness not yet determined.

Staci was born on September 29th, 1966 in San Diego California to Karen and Mark Laird. She was the 2nd daughter of three girls. A few short years after Staci was born Step-Father Johnny Montrose joined the family and helped raise them until his death in 1980.

After High School Staci explored many different career paths until deciding to enroll in online courses in Criminal Law in 2012 which she continued until her death. In 2011 Staci met Jack W. McClellan Jr., (aka T-Bone), of Corsicana, TX. Jack/T-Bone and Staci began their lives together that same year and then relocated to Rosebud TX where Jack could further his career in Prosthetics and Staci could stay home and focus on her career goals. For the past 8 years, Staci and T-Bone shared the joy, love & companionship of a small furry female dog named "Prissy", that was completely devoted to Staci and helped comfort her through her health struggles.

Staci was Pre-deceaced by her Mother Karen Thompson of Macon, GA in 2021, Her eldest sister Traci S Broussard-(Laird) of Sacramento, CA. in 2017, and her Step-Father Johnny Montrose of California in 1980.

Staci was survived by the love of her life Jack W. McClellan Jr. (T-Bone) of Rosbud, TX., Her Sister Diana Tankersley of Macon, GA., and a son Ryan Tyler Anthony Hudson of Reno Nevada and many Aunts, Cousins and Friends of California and Texas that she often reminisced of throughout the years.

Staci, you finally have your wings so go fly free and enjoy the wind in your hair.....no more pain, no more struggles.....Your beautiful heart will be missed but never forgotten.....R.I.P my Friend, My Sister.

(the family has chosen to memorialize Staci's life instead of having a service)
