I met Sri on my first project at Deloitte, after graduating from Texas A&M (our Alma Mater) and moving to Houston. I was new to consulting, but I was fortunate to have a great mentor in Sri. He was a most patient teacher. He was sweet, polite, encouraging and always supportive of me.

Sri often reminded me of my elder brother. And he really felt like one, in those early months. He and Preethi would invite me over for meals at their home, bring back snacks for me from India, and generally watch out for me. And Sri never forgot to wish me on my birthday.

Over the years, I had the chance to work with him on multiple projects and initiatives. Sri was such a positive influence on everyone who interacted with him. Just being around him compelled you to be a better and kinder you.

Even though Sri is gone (and most days it still doesn’t feel like he is), I hope to hold on to that influence.

I joined Deloitte in 2020 and that's when i met Sri for an initiative work. We hit it off after our first meeting and he became the go-to person for ideas or clarifications. I will miss him a lot. May god give his family the strength!

I first met Sri while working together at CBI and we immediately hit it off. We worked closely for almost a year and time and time again, I was blown away by his quiet confidence, calm demeanor, and subtle sense of humor.

This was back in April 2019, it was my roll-off dinner and the team decided to go to a Brazilian steakhouse that only served an assortment of meat dishes. Being who he is, Sri joined us for the dinner despite there not being any vegetarian options on the menu. He only ate salad that night, but gamely stayed on to celebrate our team and our friendship - that's just who he was. The next morning, he messaged me to tell me that he has food poisoning and will be working from the hotel - surprisingly, the one person who did not eat any meat ended up getting sick. I felt terrible but he just laughed it off and said it was worth it. Miss you my friend!
