Sophia “Sophie” Marie Wrightington was received into her Heavenly Father’s loving arms on February 18, 2019. She was born on December 14, 1999 in High Point, NC, to Scott and Sariah Wrightington, forever changing their priorities and eternal perspective as the first of their 5 children.

The absence of her fiery personality/hair, strong will and fierce loyalty will be missed by those left behind, but we take comfort this will only be a temporary separation from this amazing soul. We are grateful to know of the peace she now enjoys and that she is no longer in pain, but surrounded by loved ones in her heavenly home.

Sophie is survived by her parents Scott Allen and Sariah Marie, siblings Sydnee Alana, Scotlyn Elizabeth, Silas Beau and Steelman Jackson “SJ”, grandparents Brenda Elizabeth Wrightington, Buford Burton Pike, Ellen Marie Pike, uncles George Arthur “Skippy” Wrightington, Jared Burton Pike (Kelly), Abraham Leonard Pike, Israel Lehi Pike (Madison), aunt Heather Sikes and her loving cousins. Sophie is preceded in death by her grandfather George Arthur Wrightington.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 37280 W Bowlin Rd, Maricopa, AZ at 2:00 pm on March 2nd, 2019. A public viewing will be held at the same location Friday March 1st from 7:00-9:00 pm and from 1:00-1:40 pm just prior to the funeral services.
