Sophia Sanchuk gained his angel wings on June 7th 1987 in Toronto ON, after a battle with cancer. Sophia was 55 years old. She left behind her husband, Ross Stephens who passed in 2007 and just a year ago was joined by her son, Ray who passed in 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Still living is her second son Allan and many grand, and great grandchildren. 

Sophia's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.  Sophia loved her children and family immensely,  they were arguably the most important achievement in her life.

Sophia has been and always will be missed dearly.
