Soon Young Chea, 82, passed away on July 14, 2024. She was born in Korea on July 27, 1941. She immigrated to the United States in the mid-1960's, after which she met her husband, Tea Young Chea, in Washington D.C.  She is survived by her only child and daughter. Aside from her family, her passion was travel, and she was able to fulfill her desire to see the world after retirement, visiting many destinations including China, Italy, Turkey, and the Czech Republic. Although she always claimed a dislike of cooking, her food was excellent and she loved to feed others, always cooking way more than was needed for the occasion. She was generous in showing her love, and well known among her many nieces and nephews for her warm hugs. She also loved to brag about her grandchildren's talents, sharing their performance videos and artwork with her friends.

채순영 씨가 2024년 7월 14일, 82세의 나이로 별세하셨습니다. 그녀는 1941년 7월 27일 한국에서 태어나셨습니다. 1960년대 중반에 미국으로 이민 온 후 워싱턴 D.C.에서 남편인 채태영 씨를 만났습니다. 채 여사는 외동딸을 남기셨습니다. 가족 외에도 그녀의 열정은 여행이었으며, 은퇴 후 세계를 보고 싶어하는 열망을 이루어 중국, 이탈리아, 터키, 체코 공화국 등 많은 목적지를 방문하셨습니다. 요리를 싫어한다고 늘 주장하셨지만, 그녀의 음식은 훌륭했고 다른 사람들에게 음식을 대접하는 것을 좋아하셔서 항상 필요 이상으로 많이 요리하셨습니다. 채 여사는 사랑을 표현하는데 관대하셨고, 많은 조카들 사이에서 따뜻한 포옹으로 유명하셨습니다. 또한 손주들의 재능을 자랑하는 것을 좋아하셔서 그들의 공연 비디오와 예술 작품을 친구들과 공유하곤 하셨습니다.
