Sonya Perkins, age 69, of Spokane, Wa, passed away on September 22, 2023. She was born on July 26, 1954, in Albuquerque,NM, to her loving mother. Sonya was a fierce and strong woman who wore her scars with pride. She had a deep love for her family and dogs, and they loved her just as much in return. Sonya had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind heart, and always prioritized the needs of others.

Sonya is survived by her father, siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, boyfriend, and her beloved dogs. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Sonya's life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local animal shelter in Sonya's name.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
