Om Nov 13th 2025 at 11:18am, my dad choose to go home on Hospice. Nov 14th 2025 their was a knock at my dads door, it was Two Adult and Protective Services workers, I stepped outside to see what was going on, they said they have been investigating three individuals for Financial Abuse, Neglect, Ect. I was absolutely Devistated. My dads sister Princess Harris, his nieces Mary McKinzy and Letha McKinzy had been stealing money, medication and ect... I had absolutely no Clue, hints or anything that this was being done. My dad had the exact Life Insurance that he choose and picked for his self. I changed my dad, fed my dad, gave bed baths, and never left his side until he transition on Dec 20, 2025. Im thankful to be blessed to be able to be there for him in his last days. Jan 5th 2026 prepared for memorial viewing and it was amazing. The following week I received a call from Terry's Family Funeral Home in Portland oregon stating he didn't have life insurance. I was at a lost for words, after everything that happened they had Cashed Out my dads life insurance without my dads knowledge. I have the letter that the insurance mailed me and it was cashed in on Feb 21, 2024. Im devastated, angry, heartbroken and lost. Princess is in jail, the two nieces ran to California and there is a active police report Charges are being pressed and I will continue to be my dads voice even tho he is not here on earth. My dad never asked no one for anything, he never judged, he always gave positive advice and loved his family. If there is anything anyone can help with is Absolutely Amazing and Appreciated. Im stepping out on Faith and am asking to please help me bring my dad home. Thank you for taking the time to hear my dad Sonny R. Harris Story. Desperately Needing my dads Ashes. $3500 is remaining balance then i can bring my dad home. I had my dads viewing and memorial on Jan 5,2026, I got notified by Terry's Family funeral home and life insurance company mailed me an apology letter because my dads side of his family cashed in his life insurance on Feb 21, 2024 and my dads bank accounts while he was still alive and after my dads viewing they continued to take the rest of his money out of accounts. Charges have pressed and I will continue to be my dads voice until Justice has been done.
