Sondra Lea Crochet, age 46, a resident of LaPlace, La., passed away on July 5, 2021. Sondra is survived by: her parents, Evince (Sonny) Crochet and Shirley Lee McCorkle; a sister, Amanda Renee McCormick; 3 children, Adison Cooper, Adele Cooper, and Adalyn Cooper; and the children’s father, Tommy Cooper. Sondra is preceded in death by a sister, Angie Marie Crochet. Sondra loved her extended family members; although not listed here, they will be an integral part of the Memorial services. Sondra graduated from Thibodaux High School. She studied at Thibodaux Vo-Tec and was certified in medical coding and billing. She worked at Chabert Medical Center Houma and as part of La. Medlink LLC LaPlace with Tommy. She enjoyed crafting and camping. She was the motivational force and an active participant in her children’s dance, gymnastics, and softball as well as attending school and church functions. Memorial services will be provided courtesy of First Baptist Church 120 Ormond Blvd, LaPlace. Saturday July 31, 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name. The family of Sondra Lea Crochet wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who have graciously made donations and assisted with child care.
