Solomon Choi, 44, of Manhasset, NY, passed away on June 7th, 2024.

Solomon was born on April 20th 1980, to William WonJin Choi and Jennifer YunHwa Choi in Seoul, South Korea. After Solomon graduated from Granada Hills High School in 1998, he attended the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, graduating with a BS in Business Administration in 2002.

In 2015, Solomon met Hannah through an introduction by her sister in a 16 Handles on the Upper West Side. Within 85 days they were engaged and married within 6 months of meeting. Solomon and Hannah have two beautiful children, Jubilee – 7 years old, and Joshua – 4 years old.

Solomon was a passionate entrepreneur, investor and advisor with over 20 years in the F&B and hospitality industries. He was the CEO of Jabba Brands, a company he founded in 2019 to advise, invest, and operate companies that improve the way people eat, drink, and live harmoniously. He was also an Angel Squad member at Hustle Fund, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage start-ups in various sectors, including F&B. Solomon founded and sold two successful F&B companies: 16 Handles, New York City’s first self-serve frozen yogurt shop that grew to over 40 locations internationally, and Greeno Products, a supplier of custom and off-the-shelf disposables for the food service industry.

Solomon was an outstanding example of a man driven by his purpose and faith in God and passionate about sharing the love of Christ with others. He led a Christian men’s group and was committed to supporting and challenging those around him to be the best versions of themselves.

Solomon’s legacy will live on forever through the memories of those who had the opportunity to know him and the impact that he had on countless lives. Solomon will be remembered for his relentless optimism, his discipline & fearlessness, and his Michael Jackson dance moves. Most importantly, he was committed to loving his wife and children to the best of his ability and will be remembered as the world’s best husband and daddy.

Solomon is survived by his parents, William WonJin Choi and Jennifer YunHwa Choi, his wife Hannah Chang-Choi, their two children Jubilee and Joshua Choi, his sisters Erica Choi and Esther Choi, brother-in-laws George Kimmel and Brycen Fauser, and his nieces and nephews Tommy Kimmel, Noelle Kimmel, and Forest Fauser.

Services will be held at Promise Church on June 14th, at 5pm. Burial services will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery on June 15th, at 11am.
