A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Sofie Joy Cruz Frasier left this world unexpectedly, at the age of 23 on March 3, 2020. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on May 8, 1996 to Richard and Elizabeth (O’Reilly) Frasier.
Sofie was a lover of sports, mainly basketball her dream was to be a professional ball player. She was funny, outgoing , she was a symbol of power, beauty and grace, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. She was incredibly generous and caring person. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing green eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Sofie, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Sofie was preceded in death by her grandparents Murphy and Mary O’Reilly, and her grandmother Patricia Frasier. She leaves behind her parents, her sister Sonia; Sonia’s husband Frank; her nephew Cohen and niece Bella; grandfather Bruce Frasier ; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, her very best friend Natalie and her children Carter and Ryder; her precious Luna , and especially el amor de su vida “ her carino Julio”
“ God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered “come to me” A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us . He only takes the best.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m., Sunday March 15 at the Sudbury Pentecostal Church, the service will be followed by a reception. The family will receive friends Saturday March 14 from 2p.m to 4p.m. & 7p.m to 9p.m. at the Frasier’s home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Sofie’s name to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Blood Services, or a charity of your choice.
