Background
Founded in 2001 by the parents of a child with cancer, Flashes of Hope brightens the lives of children with cancer through a national photography program and by investing in pediatric cancer research.
Flashes of Hope has partnered with over 80 pediatric hospitals and dozens of summer camps for children with cancer; presenting free photo packages to over 87,170 children at hospitals and camps across the United States.
Realizing that for some families the portraits were the last ones they had of their child, as they were for our sweet Sofia, Flashes of Hope began funding research to provide improved health outcomes for pediatric cancer patients.
