Socorro Inez Lopez passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Born August 5, 1988 in Santa Barbara, Schoco as she was affectionately known, grew up in Ventura County attending Arnaz Elementary, De Anza Middle School, and finishing her education at Foothill High School. She worked ER Admitting for CMH for 10 yrs always keeping calm under pressure. Schoco was a lifelong foodie always enjoying good conversation and laughter over some new adventurous cuisine she had found. She enjoyed reading, music, dancing, and, of course, savoring an icy Michelada on a hot day. Schoco loved animals and rescued many in her lifetime. Most importantly, she was a daughter, a sister, and a friend. Her spirit will be missed by those who loved her and always had the best times when she was around. She is preceded in death by her father Elias M. Lopez. She is survived by her mother Camille Yananatuono, of Casitas Springs; her sister, brother-in-law and nephew: Camille M. Yannatuono, Valentino Sorpresi and Sebastiano Sorpresi, of Switzerland; her sister and brother-in-law: Tiffany Goodrow and Jon Goodrow, of San Diego; and many other loving family members
