Snake Douglas Gretzky passed away peacefully in Phoenixville, PA on October 31st, 2018, due to complications following a car accident. He was between one and ten years old.

Mr. Gretzky was born to snake parents, Luciusss and Denissse Gretzky. He was a 2017 graduate of Ursinusss University, where he studied music, with a particular focus on major scales. He worked for several months as a pilot for Spirit Airlines, eventually leaving the plane in early 2018 for the open plains. He was heavily involved in his local community and worked avidly with young children with tetra-amelia syndrome.

In his spare time, Mr. Gretzky was an avid cricket player, eating several each day. He also loved to cook and was particularly skilled at noodle dishes. He considered himself a serpent of God, attending church religiously every week, and teaching his interpretation of the Genesis chapter to children in Sunday school.

Mr. Gretzky is survived by his friends and adopted parents, Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan; step-brother, Bagheera; and many, many friends; also, miraculously, Keith Richards.

Snake Gretzky will be buried in a private ceremony with family and friends on November 1, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation.
