Smidge's obituary

Smidge was the sweetest dog.

She came from Knoxville where she was rescued with Jenny as a resident vet at U of T, and lived in Portland most of her life.

She loved Jenny, working at Buckman vet clinic, couches, cuddling, guarding her food, her aunties at Buckman and Laurelhurst, the beach, hikes, Fernhill park, kissing peoples' noses, and smelling everything.

When Smidge was diagnosed with cancer in May, her original prognosis was 1 to 2 months. Through excellent medical care at VCA and a ton of hard work by Jenny, she lived 8 more good months, spent more precious time with us, and got to go to the beach several more times, take her first flight, hike in the redwoods and the gorge, eat every kind of treat, and smell lots of butts.

We would love it if you share a nice memory or photo of Smidge in the memories section.

Don't worry about the donation part of this site, it doesn't seem to allow it to be removed.
