Dear Cruz Family, my sincere condolences. Loosing a loved one is never easy and when a life is cut short it makes it more difficult to deal with death. Death is an enemy to us all, taking away our most beloved ones. In John 11:11 death is compared to a peaceful sleep and just like we all awaken from sleeping, Jehovah God will wake Skyler up from death. Acts 24:15 Jehovah God offers us the hope of the resurrection. May this hope help you endure until you see Skyler again.

I started with NPS in 2023 so I did not get the chance to work with Skyler very much. However, every time I was around him, he was kind, funny, and a joy to be around. He always made me feel welcome. He loved being on the fire team. Sending my condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.
