We regret to announce the loss of Siv Zang Chhean who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Chino at the age of 86.

Siv Zang Chhean was a devoted family man, who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren above all else. He was a beloved husband to Y Lang Han Chhean, and a devoted father to David, Daniel, Huiling, Meiling, and Sally. If there was one word that could describe him as a person and his approach to life, it would be “fighter”. He spent his entire life always fighting for something – fighting for survival, fighting for an education, fighting for opportunities, fighting for a better life in America.

In his free time, Siv Zang Chhean, he enjoyed gardening and being a grandpa, which brought him pride and joy.

Siv Zang Chhean is survived by Y Lang Han Chhean, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 A funeral service will be held at Universal Ching Wah Funeral Director on February 2, 2024, from 9am-11am, with interment to follow at Rose Hill at 12pm. Please no money donation.

Siv Zang Chhean will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
