Sister Anne Marie's obituary

Sister Anne Marie was born to John and Florence (Mullaly) Mullen in Omaha, NE. She entered the BVM congregation Sept. 8, 1951 from St. Bridget Parish in Omaha, NE. In addition to positions as teacher, principal at St. Bridget Parish and Administrator at St. James Orphanage both in Omaha. Anne Marie taught in IA, CO, MT, CA; was executive director of Barry Robinson Behavioral Health Center, VA; and secondary school counselor at Quigley Seminary in Chicago. She volunteered at Norwood Crossing Nursing Home, Chicago, and worked and volunteered at Wright Jr College, Chicago in the computer department. She served thousands in her 69 years of ministry and volunteer service with the BVM congregation.
Anne Marie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Jeanne‘ Hebert, brother Jack Mullen, brother-in-law Gene Hebert, nephew Jerry Hebert and nieces Helen Mullen Radil and JoAnne Hebert Harter.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Roberta Mullen (Jack), nephews John Hebert (Kathy), Jim Hebert (Deb) and Joe Hebert (Becky), Bill Harter (JoAnne), Tim Mullen (Valetta), Ray Mullen (Laurie) and Larry Radil (Helen); nieces Jeanne’ Landorf (Richard), Judy Tatlock (Jim) and Jane Hebert (Chris Fink), Mary Ferzely (Mike), Roberta Flott (Anthony) and numerous great nephews and nieces and extended family members; and the Sisters of Charity, BVM.
