Simone's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Simone "MoMo" Moses, who died on July 11, 2024.
Simone was born in Queens, NY on July 21, 1980, to Robert and Yvonne Moses. In 1988, the family moved to West Palm Beach, FL.
Simone spent her life passionately embodying strength, resilience, creativity, and kindness. Cherished by so many, she was particularly fond of young ones. She was always hosting art parties and fun activities for them. Not to be forgotten, her kitties, Honey, Iced Tea, and Pepper were all very close to her heart.
Known to some as MoMo, Simone was a woman of many facets. She was fiercely independent, a tireless fighter, yet possessed an innate kindness that touched all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her creativity shined like a beacon, manifesting itself in her artwork and photography.
Simone was nothing short of vibrant, continually encouraging others to live life to its fullest, regardless of circumstances. Simone's spirit was epitomized in her unwavering devotion and love for Jehovah. Her baptism, on February 5, 1994, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses stands as a testament to this commitment.
Simone's achievements stretched across various dimensions of her life, yet it was her strength in facing life's challenges and her strong love for Jehovah that truly defined her. She reminded us all to seek joy, pursue our passions, and maintain a steadfast faith.
Simone, or MoMo as she was affectionately known, will be forever etched in our hearts. Her legacy of determination, thoughtfulness, artistic creativity, and heartfelt compassion will continue to inspire us all. Her loss leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will live on in every life she touched with her art, her love, and her devoted service to Jehovah.
May we all find solace in the precious memories we shared with Simone, reflect on the lessons she has imparted, and strive to honor her legacy in our own lives. We mourn her passing and yet celebrate the remarkable life of this extraordinary woman. May her favorite scripture, Revelation 21:3, 4, bring comfort to you as it often brought comfort to her.
Simone leaves behind: her parents, Robert & Yvonne Moses, her brother, Ian Moses & wife, Amber Moses, her nephews, Austin & Miles Moses, her niece, Jaila Moses, her grandmothers, Joyce Tai & Elouise Thompson, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
