Simone Francois

Of Waltham, formerly of Framingham, passed away peacefully on her 86th Birthday February 1st, 2025 in Metro-West Medical Center.

Born on February 1, 1939, In Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; daughter of the late Alphonse Anacreon and Lina Paul. Simone immigrated to the United States and settled in New York before moving to Framingham and then to Waltham, Massachusetts.

A woman of great faith she lived a life devoted to God and her family. As an active member of Sichem Seventh Day Adventist Church, Simone took great pride in her ministry as a Deaconess, from maintaining a smooth operation of church meetings to preparing meals for fellowship dinners and sometimes visiting with members who were sick or shut-in, with a compassionate and kind spirit. She did this for many years while sustaining a happy home and her passion for cooking, sewing, knitting and her love for others will live on for generations to come.

Simone is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Menocal Francois; her devoted & loving children, Herold Francois and his wife Locita of Florida; Blondine Nelson of Framingham; Guila Sautier and her husband Wood of Framingham; Kerwin Francois and his wife Alycia of Hopedale and the late Maryse Antoine; her cherished grandchildren Herold Jr., Jeffrey, Jason, Randy, Bryant, Kenneth, Jessica, Aisha, Christian, Noah and the late Robert; her adoring great grandson Izayah. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her dear siblings Edner, Gerard and Andre.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Simone and her family can do so in the Sichem 7th Day Adventist Church, 929 Concord Turnpike, ARLINGTON on FRIDAY morning February 7th prior to the funeral service from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Simone's life to remember the love and friendship she shared with so many others at a Funeral Service in the Sichem 7th Day Adventist Church, 929 Concord Turnpike, ARLINGTON on FRIDAY morning February 7th at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Feake Cemetery, located 203 Prospect Street in Waltham, MA.
