Plenty of seating is reserved for our informal gathering. The brewhouse doesn’t serve food, but there are food trucks nearby.

University of Washington Astronomy Building and the lawn between buildings have been reserved for Saturday, July 29, 2023. We are thankful this facility is available for Simon’s Celebration of Life. UW has our event on their books as “Research Colloquium, Dr. Simon Krughoff.” We will gather at 1 PM with the Celebration of Life program beginning at 1:15 in the lecture hall. (See below for Zoom information if you are unable to attend in person but would like to join us virtually.) You are encouraged to bring stories, pictures, memorabilia, music, etc. to enrich our time together. After the celebration program, light refreshments and beverages will be available outside the lecture hall with space for visiting both inside and on the lawn. A campus map with the astronomy building circled is attached, along with a map of nearby parking lots. Hotels in the area are expensive, but convenient. Here are some links:
