Our brilliant, one-of-a-kind Papa Bear Simon passed away early this morning. It was just he and I holding hands together during the final moments of his life. We are heartbroken and miss him so much. It’s hard to comprehend it all, but I feel so lucky that we have had such an amazing life together and grateful for the beautiful children we created. We are doing our best to allow ourselves the space to feel it all. There is so much sadness, fear, shock and loneliness right now. But we know things will get better. Taking life one breath at a time. The hole left by your passing will never be filled. We love you papa and we know your spirit is all around us. In the wind, the trees, the ocean, the sky.
