Sierra's obituary
Sierra “CiCi” Nicole-Leigh Lehoe, 22, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on February 14th, 2023, from cardiac arrest.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 4th,2023 from 1 pm – 3 pm at Anna Maria Bayside Pavilion(tentative). Cremation is being handled by Brown and Son’s Funeral Home and Crematory of Bradenton.
CiCi was born in Sarasota, Florida on October 5th, 2000, and has been cared for by her adopted father and loving uncle, Shaun “Uncle Me Shauny” Lehoe, and her maternal grandmother, Effie “Nana” Bledsoe since she was 16.
CiCi enjoyed her books, duckies, family, nurses, aides, doctors, and most of all TikTok. CiCi lit up every room she was in and always had a smile on her face. CiCi never met a stranger and to know her was to love her. On your darkest days, you could always count on CiCi to give you that beautiful smile followed by her famous “click-click” and your world was suddenly better. The amount of love and happiness that CiCi shared with the world during a time that the strongest among us wouldn’t be able to bear made it only fitting that she would leave this world on Saint Valentine’s Day, the day of love. CiCi was a trooper, a fighter, and the most courageous young woman you could ever meet. She fought from the day she was born to just survive but did it with a smile on her face. She can finally be whole again, free from the pain, and the burdens of this life. She will be dearly missed every single day by everyone who ever had the privilege of meeting her may we all find comfort in knowing she is running, talking, twerking, and TikToking with her tequila in heaven.
CiCi is survived by her adopted father/uncle Shaun “Uncle Me Shauny” Lehoe and her maternal grandmother, Effie “Nana” Bledsoe, both of Bradenton, Florida. Her birth mother, Lora Boring of Ravenna, Ohio, her birth father, Erin Roberts of Pennsylvania, her Sisters, Tasha (Jim) Dimick and Brittany Boring, both of North Port, Florida, her Uncle Stephen “Duckie Duck” (Rachel) Gambill of Parma, Ohio, her niece, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Dimick, and nephew Grayson “Little man” Dimick, both of North Port, Florida. Cici is also survived by her maternal grandfather, Robert (Dona) Bledsoe, of Lancaster, Ohio, her paternal grandfather, Walter Roberts of Maine, her paternal grandmother, Ruth Roberts of Sarasota, Florida, her paternal aunt, Joy (Dennis) Smith of Sarasota, Florida, her paternal uncle, Jeff (Nina) Roberts of Fort Myers, Florida, and five paternal cousins. Additionally, CiCi is survived by her Nurse Aunt, Susan “Sue” Vecchio of Bradenton, Florida, and by countless nurses and aides that have been with her and cared for her over the past 6 years and whom CiCi loved and adored and was always thankful and appreciative for what they did for her. We know that none of them will ever hear a “click-click” again and not think of CiCi thanking them for all they did.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for new children’s books to be donated in CiCi’s memory to stock the “CiCi Library” at her niece Lizzie’s school so that CiCi’s love of books can live on. Books can be dropped off at her Celebration of Life or mailed to 3547 53rd Ave W PMB 120, Bradenton, FL 34210. You are also welcome to donate to the family towards the cost of cremation and Celebration of Life with the remaining funds being used to purchase books. The family of Sierra “CiCi” Nicole-Leigh Lehoe wishes to thank the first responders from Manatee County EMS that worked so hard to save her, and the most amazing, kind, and courteous HCA Florida Doctors Sarasota North Emergency Room staff, lead by Dr. Rodriguez who continued to attempt to save CiCi and that showed her Uncle Me Shauny the most heartfelt compassion, respect and dignity that any person could ever ask for during such a dark and sad time. We also thank the loving-kindness, compassion, and dignity shown to our little girl and family by Mayor Gene Brown and the entire staff of Brown and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
