With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Shirly Green, born on February 9, 1965, and departed from us on January 11, 2026. A beacon of giving, love, and happiness, Shirly's direct and authentic personality touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her.

Shirly is survived by her loving husband, Larry Green, and her cherished daughters, Brandy Green and Eunice Perry. She was a beloved sister to Thomas and Andre Malone and was a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Jeremy, Lisa, and Liv Johnson. The bond she shared with her family was truly special and they are blessed to have so many wonderful memories with her.

A woman of simple pleasures, Shirly loved the crispness of ice-cold water and the soothing tunes of Anita Baker and Kirk Franklin. She was an avid fan of NCIS and took joy in cheering for her favorite sports teams, the Browns and the Cavs. A skilled card player, Shirly's competitive spirit often shone through during family game nights.

Shirly's recreational activities included watching TV and being an active member of her social club. Her favorite color, blue, often reflected in her wardrobe, matched her gentle and calming personality.

In these moments of loss and sadness, let us remember and celebrate Shirly's life, her devotion to her family, and her love for life that was infectious. Her memory will live on not only in the hearts of those who knew her but also in the many lives she touched with her giving and loving nature.
