It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley "Mickie" Woodson, born May 31, 1942, who left us on October 30, 2025. Known predominantly as Mickie, she lived a rich and full life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.

Mickie's infectious laughter and warm spirit will be profoundly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her most significant survivor is her beloved granddaughter, Ophelia Jessman, whom she cherished with all her heart.

We honor Mickie's memory by looking towards the future with the same courage, grace, and unwavering compassion that she showed in her life. Her light will forever glow in our hearts.
