Shirley's obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Watson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world surrounded by her loved ones. For many years, Shirley bravely battled heart disease and diabetes, yet she rarely let her struggles show. Despite her illness, she remained a shining light to those around her. Today, we take comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace, free from suffering, and resting with grace.
Shirley’s kind-hearted and laid-back nature made her a joy to be around, and she had an extraordinary ability to find humor and light in any situation. She was a non-judgmental spirit who embraced everyone with open arms and an open heart.
Shirley is deeply missed by her 2 children Michael and James, and her sister Susan. Her daughter-in-law, Pamma, held a special place in her life, and her 8 year old grandson Quinn, who brought boundless joy to Shirley's life, shared a remarkable bond with her—one filled with laughter, love, and happiness.
A woman of sharp wit and remarkable patience, Shirley was a master of puzzles and crossword puzzles. Her quick mind and curiosity made her a beloved companion to anyone who sat down with her to share in these pastimes. She found joy in the small things and was a constant source of laughter and wisdom for those lucky enough to know her.
Many dear friends and family members will remember her for her warmth, her laughter, and the countless moments of joy she brought into their lives. Shirley’s absence will leave an unfillable space in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live on through the love she gave and the many lives she touched.
The family will announce a celebration of Shirley’s life at a later date. Until then, may we all carry a piece of her humor, her kindness, and her joy with us, as she watches over us with that same gentle smile she always wore.
Shirley's memory will forever be cherished and her love and laughter will remain with us forever.
