Shirley's obituary

Shirley B. Seifert, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025, in White House, TN. She is now reunited with her late husband, William ‘Bill’ Seifert, whom she loved and missed dearly. We can only imagine they are on their next great trip together!

Shirley was born on August 22, 1940, in Estill, KY to Woodrow and Mary (Gibson) Bradley. She attended Wayland High School and received a bachelor’s degree in education from Morehead State University, where she began her career as a teacher. She lived a life full of adventure and enjoyed traveling in her RV, exploring new places and making new friends. Shirley was a beloved wife, aunt, daughter, cat mom and friend to many! Her adventurous heart, sense of humor and wisdom will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Seifert; parents, Woodrow and Mary (Gibson) Bradley; brother, John Bradley; and sister-in-law, Lora Dean Bradley. She is survived by nephew, David Bradley of Las Vegas, NV; niece Kara Bradley of Somerset, KY; great niece’s Cory and Taylor Bradley of Charleston, SC; and dear friends Shirley and Bob Hitchcock of White House, TN.

A small, private burial service will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Franklin, KY. Shirley and Bill were cremated, and will be buried together. We will continue to honor her memory by embracing life with the same passion and adventurous spirit that she did.
