Shirley Mae Putnam born August 13 1939 to William Alexander Taylor and Virginia Sue Taylor passed away on Friday March 15 2019. The oldest of two children proceeded in death by her brother Henry Alexander Taylor. Shirley leaves behind two daughters Betty Jo West and Jennifer Sue Ferguson along with a son Thomas Marshall Putnam. Shirley was a beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren Jennifer, Amy, and Thomas Putnam of culpeper, and Melanie Breeden, Kenneth Taylor, Emily Harris and Samantha Rogers of Martinsburg West Virginia. As well as a beloved great grandmother of 43 great grandchildren. Shirley will be laid to rest on Sunday March 24 2019 at 11am in Martinsburg Va on the family farm at the private burial lot. Close friends and family are welcome.
