Shirley's obituary
In later years she attended Eastern Michigan University where she received a Bachelor's in Business Administration .
Shirley enjoyed road trips and traveled throughout the U.S. She loved plants and gardening, and developed these interests into a small landscaping business for select cliental.
Shirley relished being in the great outdoors. An activity she liked was to go "mudding" in off road vehicles. Whether in a tent or a Recreation Vehicle, Shirley was was a happy camper. A camping passtime she loved was relaxing, with a beer, sitting around a camp fire with family or friends, cooking Hobo Stew over an open fire.
Befitting her love of nature, Shirley requested that her cremains are to be scattered upon several of Michigan's Great Lakes, including, a scenic forested valley near East Jordan in Northern Michigan.
Shirley is survived by extended family; notibly her maternal Aunts Nadine and Ruth; including, many friends.
