Shirley Jean Jones went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ….

To Clarice Joann (Nicki) and Joseph Howard Jones
Shirley enjoyed being with friends and family. Although having FSHD muscular dystrophy, she enjoyed life to the fullest. Even going sky diving for her 49th birthday.
She enjoyed laughing, singing, listening to music, Painting and doing puzzles. Encouraging others was the gift that God had given her and she tried serving the Lord with this gift every day of her life.
She was a licensed cosmetologist and nail technician. She loved serving people in the salon while she physically could.
Her most favorite job was being a mother to Benjamin David.
Shirley also loved being a woman’s Bible study teacher and planning retreats and praying for others. Besides being Ben’s mom she loved serving the Lord with her whole heart. She depended on the Lord for everything she did in life. The Lord was her joy and strength.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law Ben & Ashleigh Woods father Joseph, sister Wanda Jones Nelson, Brother Stewart Jones & granddaughter Zoey Mae.
She is preceded in death by her mother Clarice, sister Pam and brother John.
