Shirley Hinman departed this world on October 4,  2024.  Born Shirley Way on February 6, 1945, she is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Frances Way, two sisters, Doris and Margaret Way, and brother Fred Way Jr. 

She was also preceded in death by husband Pete Matson Sr, son Pete Matson Jr , and husband Glen Hinman.

Shirley was a caregiver for many years and most recently worked at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown WV prior to retirement.

She is survived by daughter Frannie and son in law Tommy Pompell as well as her beloved cat Smokey. She is also survived by daughter Tammy and son in law Jess Dusing, four grandchildren and beloved great granddaughter Amelia.
