It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley "Granny" Gordon on May 11, 2023, at the age of 79. Born on August 7, 1943, Shirley was a loving and devoted grandmother, affectionately known as Granny, though she preferred to be called by her first name.

Throughout her life, Shirley demonstrated unwavering dedication to her family, instilling a sense of love and warmth in everyone she encountered. Her spirit and tenacity will be missed by those who had the honor of knowing her.

She is survived by her dearly cherished daughters, Lois mother of Reji, Jerome, Mary, Ira, Emma mother of Earl and Tony and Barbara mother of Alicia, who carry on her legacy of strength and resilience. As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, we know that Shirley's influence will continue to be felt by her loved ones and those who were touched by her kindness.
