Shirley's obituary

Shirley Yvonne Earegood, age 90, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026. She was born on September 26, 1935, in Oxford, Michigan, to George Robert Dunn and Erma Alice Clapsaddle.
Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver whose life was a reflection of quiet strength, unconditional love, and deep dedication to her family. As a stay-at-home mom, she gave her whole heart to raising her children and caring for those around her. Her home was a place of comfort, warmth, and steady support—a place where everyone felt safe, welcomed, and loved.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Earegood and Robert Earegood; her daughters, Kim Earegood, Karen Trunk, and Kelly Velders; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever carry her love with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earegood, and her son, Matthew Earegood.
Shirley will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was—strong, selfless, and deeply caring. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the lives she touched. Though she will be greatly missed, her presence will always be felt in the hearts of her family.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Oxford Freedom Church, 790 S. Lapeer Road, Oxford, Michigan 48371.
