Shirley's obituary
Our Loving Mother Shirley Ann Dilling went home to Jesus on March 6th 2023.
She left this world at her home residence in Santa Paula,California. Her daughter and three grandchildren were able to express their final goodbyes and pray over her with a wonderful Chaplin present. We were grateful for a spirit of peace and comfort during this time.
Shirley Ann Dilling was born on December 19th 1945 in Marienville, Pennsylvania. Daughter of Rosanna Wareham married to John Wareham. Shirley was the oldest of six children. John Wareham, Peg Hoover, Linda Wareham, David Wareham, and Raymond Wareham.
Shirley had four children starting with oldest to youngest. Kimberley Mckenzie, Gary Dunkle, Maria Higginson, and Hollie Archer. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. Our Mother was born with a giving spirit. She always showed love, compassion, and forgiveness to everyone she met. Volunteered at many charities and was always helping those in need. An exceptional woman of grace and a great love for Jesus. She spent many years as a Caregiver and helping families through difficult times. They always expressed how she was a true blessing to their families. She was a woman of great strength who enjoyed music, dancing, traveling to new places and a creative spirit ready to soar. We will miss the holidays and family gatherings with our Mother. She always went over the top and filled the memories with a tremendous amount of love and laughter. Shirley Ann Dilling was the Matriarch of our family and she will be missed by friends and family dearly. We shall continue her wishes and have an intimate beachside memorial surrounded by close loved ones. Her earthly remains shall then be set free into the Pacific Ocean. We love you Mom! Thank you for your comfort from Above. Xoxo
