I found Shirley at Mahjong at the Carver library. It wasn't long before she started coming to Ladies Bible Study at Church of the Vine. She always had great insight to share. We loved the insights and the twinkle in her eye. She was a hoot at Mahjong bantering back and forth with her table of players. She was a joy. She also became part of our church family. I also need to mention :) that she made the best pasta salad. And that she loved going to the waterfront to just watch the ocean. SeaDixie was appropriate. I am so thankful that we know where she is now and also thankful that I knew her! Elaine Hannula
Wayne, Your mom was such a character (like you) !!! We had a lot of fun at the Royal Garden and Club 55, in what is now, The 1620 hotel in Plymouth. I even got her to join a summer bowling league... Blessings to all the family. May she rest in peace
So loved Shirley. She more or less boarded me for a time. She had a great outlook on life and a good sense of humor. Shirley, I hope you finally got your roundtoit!❤️🤗
I was shocked and sad when I heard the news of Shirley's passing. She was a warm, friendly woman and always made others feel welcome, especially at Ladies Bible Study. She will be missed.
So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. Shirley was such a big part of my life. When we were little we got together almost every weekend. Cookouts, birthdays, 4th of July fireworks, Christmas, and family time. I will miss you Shirley. ❤️
