It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Bishir. Shirley, 83, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on September 19, 2019 at 8:05 pm. She will be missed dearly by the many lives that she touched.
Shirley Ann Bishir was born October 25,1935 to Herman and Opal Foster. She was married to James Bishir who was the love of her life and proceeded her in death. She is reunited with him and her daughter Marilyn in the ever after.
Shirley was a homemaker and raised one of her granddaughters, Cassie Poore, who survives. Shirley loved eating at the Parkside Deli, walking to the park, and working at Pop’s B&K.
Surviving are a brother Larry Foster, sisters Norma McGlothlin of Ohio, Kathy Fultz of Ohio, and Connie Hamil of Texas. Also surviving, a son Rick Bishir and wife Nancy, a granddaughter Cassie Poore and husband Michael, and granddaughter Crystal Bishir all of Lafayette, Indiana and multiple great grandchildren.
Shirley was loved for her witty sense of humor and will be missed by all.
