Shirley Anne (Barber) Price, 85, passed away November 25, 2025. Born in Marion county on October 16, 1940, born to Charles W. And Nellie M Barber. She married Charles (Chuck) Ray Price that she had her beautiful daughter Vicki L Price and her legendary son Charles Ray Price JR. After separating from Chuck, she met Chris Mallory, that she was in a relationship with until he passed in a tragic car accident. To know her, was to know her life long devotion to Elvis Presley, A steady supply of butterscotch candies, and a deep love for her family.

She retired after many years working as a caregiver, as she was a natural nurturer. She was most famous within the family for her unique approach to gift-giving. No birthday or Christmas was complete without a present wrapped with an impressive amount of scotch tape and a tootsie roll or piece of bubble gum taped to the outside of it. It was a test of strength and patience— a final hurdle before getting to the treasure inside. It was her way of making the moment last just a little bit longer.

Although she has left our sight, her bright, beautiful, and loving spirt remains with all of her loved ones. She is survived by her sister Linda Barber Twerberg, her son Charles Ray Price JR., her granddaughter Sierra Price, her great grandson Jayden Holder, and her fur-family Chloe, all the stray neighborhood cats/kittens, Big & Goofy, Zippy,and Stella. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Nellie Barber, Her brothers Donald Barber, and Roy Delbert Barber, and her daughter Vicki L Price. She will forever be cherished, loved, and missed deeply by her family and friends.
