The loss of my dearest friend last week is so very heavy on my heart. Sheryl Hensley O'Connell, words seem so feeble in moments like these. When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure….. and my friend Sheryl you were a treasure in every way possible to everyone you loved. And of course all of us that love you will hold that treasure in our hearts forever.

We know life is precious, and death such a thief that robs us of life, but not from from our wonderful memories of a life well lived. My dear friend, those memories are helping now, as the grief overwhelms me. I have lost my truest confidante. I miss you so very much already, yet I know you are singing with the angels as you rest in the arms of Jesus.

My dearest friend that called me Sis ~ I love you and love is a bond that death cannot part.  As long as I can I will look at this world for both of us, as long as I can, I will smile in the sun, I will laugh with the birds, I will sing with the flowers, I will pray to the stars, for both of us. I love you to the moon and back…forever.

Roland, Matt, Lori, Anjie, Richard, Samantha and every single grandchild…Lailah, Braylen, Kelsee, Keenin, Krew, Ryker, and Rylee, I am sending love, thoughts, and prayers to you all for the loss of the most wonderful wife, mother, and Nana during the most difficult time of your lives. Love to all.
