Sherry Ann Norton Mowles

October 26, 1967 – October 23, 2025

Sherry Ann Norton Mowles, 57, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. She was born on October 26, 1967, in Dixon, Illinois, to Nancy and the late Richard Norton.

Sherry spent the majority of her life in Corpus Christi. She shared her journey with two great loves, her husband, Kenneth Earl Ray Mowles Jr., and later, her devoted companion, William “Billy” Radlet, with whom she spent 20 meaningful years. Preceded in death by both, she is now surrounded by unconditional love

She is survived by her loving mother, Nancy; brother John; sister Penny; and her three children, Kendra Mowles Theriot, Kenneth Earl Ray Mowles III, and Kayla Mowles Cody. Sherry’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Celeste, Bret, Kaylie, Taryn, Kenny, Kollin, Kali, Kaiya, and Mila.

Sherry’s loyal companion, her dog Junior, was always by her side and brought her comfort and joy every day.

She was generous and compassionate, always ready to help even a stranger in need, and had an unshakable devotion to her children. Sherry had a forgiving heart and was fiercely protective of the people she loved most.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures shopping, getting her nails done, sharing laughter with family and it meant the world to her that her children remained close to one another.

She took comfort knowing her children’s bond remained strong, and that the love they shared for each other and their children would nurture their family’s unity, providing a lasting foundation of love and stability for generations to come.

In her final moments, Sherry found peace as her children and granddaughter Kaylie were by her side, honoring her with love and reverence. She left this world knowing she was deeply loved.

Her courage, laughter, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
