It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherry Loften-Bechet, endearingly known as "Grandma Lynn", on July 4, 2023. Born on June 4, 1956, Sherry's vibrant life was marked by her warmth, generosity, and indomitable spirit. Despite battling health issues, including kidney disease, for the past couple of years, Sherry's big heart and tireless willingness to assist others remained unwavering.

Sherry has now joined her beloved mother, Barbara Loften, and dear sister, Teresa Lynch, both of whom had preceded her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, forever etched in the hearts of her surviving family members.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter,Tonya Hunt; her boyfriend, Zozimo Juarez; Son, Tony Gaylor Jr.; and her brother, David and Stanley Loften. Sherry's family also includes her cherished sister-in-law, Regina Loften; her loving sons-in-law, Wayman Hunt Jr.; and daughters-in-law, Tracy Gaylor. Forever treasuring memories of their grandmother are her grandchildren, Bradley Pali, Tiana Spencer, Chris Osborne (Megan). Adding to her lineage, her great-grandchildren Reyson, Marsha and Selenite Osborne, Samantha Pali,  Kingston Spencer, Maverick Juarez, and Colleen and Ashley Gaylor will also miss her profoundly.

Sherry's niece, Tory Folsom, holds special memories of her aunt, whose lessons and love will undoubtedly continue to guide her. Sherry's departure leaves a void in many lives. She was more than a survivor; she was a beacon of hope and strength, creating a lasting impression on everyone she met.

As we navigate this difficult time, let us take solace in remembering Sherry's life, not her battle. We remember her selflessness, her love, and her spirit. Sherry, our sweet angel, has flown home. We look forward to the day we meet again on the other side. Until then, she remains in our hearts, missed and remembered, until we meet again.
