Sherrie Louise Blanchard, 65, of Springfield, MO passed away at her home on July 21, 2018 after long health battles. She was preceded in death by her father Melvin Maurer and nephew Shawn Maurer. She is survived by her mother Margaret Maurer, husband of 44 years Bruce Blanchard her sons Justin (Carol) Blanchard, Josh (Angie) Blanchard and Bruce Blanchard, daughter Rebecca Blanchard, siblings Dale (Cindy) Maurer, Gary (Lynn) Maurer, Dee (Jim) Kern, Frank (Ann) Doering, Delta (Frank) Culhane, Kathy (Wil) Chromey, along with grandchildren Felicia (Ryan) Harper, Josh Blanchard, Keegan Woodruff, Shila Woodruff, Brandee Blanchard, Raine Blanchard, Benjamin Blanchard, Carolina Larios, Colton Blanchard and Kailey Kreiger along with numerous nephews and nieces. Sherrie loved her family and her art. She graduated high school from Harrington High and attended college at Northwest University where she met her future husband. She returned to school later and completed her degree in Springfield, MO at Evangel University. Sherrie loved her family, friends and crafts. Many people still enjoy a painting, beadwork or jewelry that Sherrie loved to make. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held on Thursday the 26, 2018 at The Crossing Church in Springfield MO at 4:00 pm, and Sunday August 12, 2018 at Zion United Methodist Church in Rocklyn WA at 2:00 pm.
