Sherlyn "Shay" Allen, 60, of Tacoma, WA, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with acute kidney disease.
Shay was born on September 2, 1962, to Paula J. West and Willie J. Allen in the Emerald City, Seattle, Washington. She grew up in Portland, OR, and made Tacoma home for over 20 years. Shay graduated from Central High School (Independence, OR) in 1980. She earned an undergraduate …
