It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherley Lucille McAdams who departed this world on 4l29l2025 at the age of 82. A beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister & friend she was a quiet force of love, strength, and creativity whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Sherley had an unwavering love to her family even throughout tough times, loving each person unconditionally even when distance was present. Her home was her sanctuary, filled with warmth, laughter, and the irresistible scent of her baking. A magnificent home baker, she poured her heart into every loaf of bread, every pie crust, every cookie.
Her hands were rarely still. When she wasn't in the kitchen, she was tending her garden with care and reverence, coaxing beauty from the earth season after season. Her love of knitting produced countless blankets, scarves, and keepsakes — each a testament to her patience, skill, and the quiet joy she found in giving.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and handmade beauty. Her memory will live on in the blooming flowers, the cherished recipes passed down, and the warmth of every stitch she left behind.
Sherley was Predeceased by both of her parents, Lewis McAdams and Katharine M. Norman. Her siblings "Yogie", Roxie & Arley McAdams. Her granddaughter Victoria Talmadge-Brandt & her Great Grandson William "Anthony" Lewis.
She is survived by Her sister Floetta Scelta (John). Her Children; Veronica (Roland) , Floetta "Pepper" Figueroa (Victor), Giovanni Jones (Mary) , James Wallace (Lisa) & Tamara Owens (Widowed), 15 grandchildren and numerous great grand children. Many nieces & nephews. Her fur child Bobbi-Jo.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
