Sheri's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheri Bloodsworth, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and daughter, on July 7, 2025. Born on December 21, 1991, Sheri lived a life filled with deep love for her family, commitment to her profession, and an unyielding sense of kindness towards all.
Sheri leaves behind her devoted husband, Brandon Thompson, their children Keeleigh, Bentlee, and Brentley Thompson, and her step-son Britten Thompson. Her loss will be deeply felt by her mother, Karen Martin, and her stepmother, Christina Bloodsworth. Her father, Jimmie Bloodsworth, her sister, Keri Bloodsworth, and Savannah Hicks are also among those whose lives she touched and who will remember her fondly. Sheri's legacy of love and care will also live on through her adoring grandparents, Margie and Daniel Hathorn, and Judy and Roger Tackett.
Rising above the grief are fond memories of Sheri that paint a picture of an individual who truly cared for others. Her lessons of treating others as you would want to be treated have left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sheri served as a nurse for many years, showing unfettered dedication and commitment to the comfort and care of her patients.
Sheri was predeceased by her Grandfather, Clyde Perkins, and her Grandfather, Jimmie Bloodsworth. Her uncles, Eric Perkins and Rocky Bloodsworth, also preceded her in passing. The love and wisdom they shared continue to remain in the hearts of the family.
Sheri’s legacy lives on through the kindness she showed, the comfort she gave, and the countless lives she touched. Her loving spirit and caring heart will always be remembered.
