Sheree's obituary
Sheree Denise Rainbolt-Kren passed away peacefully in her home in Fort Myers on December 10, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband and children.
She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 5, 1957.
From Las Vegas to Hollywood, from small towns in Virginia to New York City, Sheree lived a life fueled by creativity, courage, and compassion. She was an actress, comedian, writer, director, and producer of theater. In Las Vegas, she created a high-energy dance show at the Tropicana Hotel. She studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Milton Katselas and produced a long-running late-night original sketch comedy show. In Hollywood, she spearheaded the groundbreaking “Top Ten Showcase,” uplifting up-and-coming Los Angeles actors. She founded Red Rock Productions and The Old Town Theater Company—touring companies that produced nearly 50 shows. She concluded her theatrical career by writing, producing, and directing the Off-Broadway productions Teen Angel and Broadway Jane. All the while, she remained the heart, homemaker, and matriarch of her family.
Sheree was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Dean Rainbolt and Maxine “Mickey” Gedney, and her beloved daughter, Chanel Regina Kren. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Frank Kren; her three children and their spouses—Ryan and Keysha Kren, Dylan and Maru Kren, and Lily Helen Kren; and her four cherished grandchildren—Kyle, Camilo, Clair, and Kyriah. She is also survived by her three siblings and their spouses— Steve and Barbara Rainbolt, Caressa and Jimmy Kepple, and Frances Lee Rainbolt.
