Shem Megail Gavey Frederick, 39, passed away on November 3rd, 2021. Shem was born in Aug 7th, 1982 in Castries, Saint Lucia. He was the 6th of 9 children to his mother, Eustochia Frederick. Growing up with five older brothers and three younger sisters, there was never a dull moment. 

Shem will always be remembered  by his huge heart that was always willing to help those in need. He was a hard worker and always put everything he had into everything he did. He loved soccer, both playing with numerous teams over the years as well as watching and (loudly) cheering on his children’s teams. His Colorado team, The Hustlers, became a second family and has supported him so much over the years. He had HFL tattooed on his shoulder for Hustler for Life. Shem also loved dirt bikes and had so many amazing memories riding on the track with family and friends as well as catching as many races as he could watch. He was often seen sporting “7” gear in honor of his favorite rider. 

 

Shem will be greatly missed by so many people across the globe. With so many lives that he touched we are planning multiple celebrations of his life to help accommodate as many as possible.  

Washington: There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday December 12th at the Rod and Gun Club in Langley, WA. 

New York: There will be a celebration of life planned in January after the holidays. Details to come. 

Colorado: There will be a celebration in Colorado next Summer. Most likely in August but details to come. 

Saint Lucia: TBD
