Shelly's obituary
Shelly Rippe worked as a teacher, beginning her career at Beth Sholom Hebrew School for Children, and later specializing in Adult English as a Second Language. She loved languages and speaking with her students in their native tongue. She enjoyed listening to jazz and other genres of music, playing guitar, being in nature, sketching, fishing and dancing. She volunteered, visiting nursing homes and talking to people in need in order to help them cope with their life transitions.
Shelly Rippe is survived by her daughter, Veronika, son Joel, grandson, Collin, mother Esther, and sisters Debra and Lesli. The family of Shelly Rippe would like to thank the kind and caring services of Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota and Bradenton.
