Shelley's obituary

On May 22, 2024, Shelley Marie Dobney passed away peacefully and gracefully, surrounded by her family, in Mesa, AZ.  Shelley was born on June 23, 1970 at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington.  She graduated from Mead High School in Spokane and was a proud mother, dedicated friend, loving sister and daughter.

Shelley was a special soul with a calm and positive spirit -  a bright light to everyone she knew.  She will always be remembered as a kind, generous and intelligent friend who brought immense love and kindness to the world. She was a great listener and helped others see positivity and laughter in any situation. She had a heart as big as the sky and love for people, music, animals, plants and joyful laughter.  While her light has dimmed on Earth, her star shines brighter than ever in the afterlife.

Shell's influence left an indelible mark on those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to touch the hearts of many even in her absence. Her life wasn't merely lived, it was a testament to the power of love and resilience.

Possessing a heart brimming with kindness, Shelley was known for her unwavering generosity and her level-headedness even in the whirlwinds of life. She was clever and possessed a quick wit that could light up a room. Her positive and serene nature was a beacon of hope and calm for many.

Nothing gave Shelley more joy than her two remarkable children, Presley and Cameron. She took immense pride in their accomplishments and adored them endlessly. The love she had for her children and friends was a testament to her nurturing soul and the joy she had being with family and friends.

Shelley is survived by her children, Cameron Thompson and Presley Thompson; her beloved sister, Dawn Dobney; her mother Linda Dobney and father Mike Dobney and many, many friends across Washington, Oregon and Arizona.

In the hearts of those who loved her, Shelley will never be forgotten. Her spirit of love and positivity will live on in our memories and in the laughter we share remembering the good times. Even as we grieve her loss, we celebrate her incredible journey and the profound impact she had on so many lives.  RIP Shellbell, we love you!
