Shelleen's obituary

Beloved mother and grandmother - Shelleen A. Oberender (Senn) lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer on November 2nd, 2023. Ironically, it was the Day of the Dead, and she would have appreciated that. Shelleen was born in Hollywood, CA, to Alvin Senn and Shelley Senn (Stylionos). Shelleen had 3 siblings: Bruce Senn, Linda Senn, and Christopher Senn.  Shelleen's greatest joy was her children: Thomas Kammers Jr., Jeremy Oberender, Shellaree Harrington (Oberender), and Terry Cressey Jr. Shelleen always worked hard to support her family, and worked for Costco for 30 years: from 1986, until her retirement in 2016. Shelleen also found great joy with her grandchildren Miranda (Thomas), Abbigail, Eleanore, Emma (Jeremy), Ava, Hudson, and Milla (Shellaree). Also, two great-grandchildren: Aliya and Alana Sanani. Shelleen was a wildly independent, clearly outspoken, and amazingly creative woman. Shelleen was loved by her friends and admired for her loyalty, beauty, cooking, crafting, and gardening. In the last several years of her life, her homemade gifts became treasures, some funny, some puzzling, but always beautiful. Shelleen was the best mom ever, and all of us (Tom, Jeremy, Shellaree, and Terry) have the best memories growing up, having fun, and always enjoying every holiday and birthday. Our mom loved us all differently for sure, but we all knew and felt her love always. Fly high mom - we love and miss you so very much.  Shelleen will be interned at Holy Cross Cemetery in the Spring, and a private Celebration will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please give someone you love a big and real hug - our mom loved real hugs.
